Role Overview

In this position, you will work closely with the broader human resources group—including the HR Business Partner, People Operations, Recruiting, and Immigration—to ensure that all moving parts of a rapidly growing enterprise function smoothly. You will take ownership of human resources information systems, contractor operations, immigration support, onboarding logistics, internal documentation, and recognition initiatives. This is a hands-on role requiring strong organization, adaptability, and the ability to operate independently.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain daily updates and data integrity within the HRIS for start dates, title changes, and reporting lines, while running regular audits.
Coordinate complete onboarding logistics, from background checks and I-9 verifications to IT alignment, workspace readiness, and facilitating weekly sessions.
Manage the full contractor lifecycle, tracking agreements, start and end dates, extensions, and offboarding procedures.
Assist with immigration case processing by gathering documents, tracking statuses, maintaining records, and answering basic inquiries.
Maintain and update the internal human resources wiki to ensure all procedural pages serve as a reliable single source of truth.
Administer the employee recognition program, handling awards, fulfillment, swag, and consistent cadence.

Requirements

A degree in Human Resources or a related field.
Two to three years of professional experience working in an HR Generalist or HR Specialist capacity.
Exceptional organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously.
Resourceful and self-directed work ethic with the ability to find solutions without a pre-existing playbook.
Flexibility to pivot quickly as business priorities shift without losing track of open items.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills alongside sound discretion regarding confidential employee data.

Nice to Have

Prior experience supporting immigration cases such as H-1B, TN, O-1, or green card processing.
Background working within a startup or another high-growth, fast-paced corporate setting.
Hands-on operational experience utilizing an HRIS platform like Rippling.
