Role Overview

As a Backend Software Engineer at Fireworks AI in Singapore, the chosen candidate will take charge of designing and developing core backend architectures that drive a high-performance generative AI platform. Key Responsibilities

Design and construct essential backend software modules to maintain strong system resource efficiency, scalability, and stability.
Perform thorough code and design reviews while working alongside cross-functional engineering teams.
Consistently evaluate and refine infrastructure performance concerning compute, storage, and networking for AI workloads.

Requirements

Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related technical discipline, or possess equivalent practical experience.
Bring three or more years of professional background working within machine learning infrastructure environments such as PyTorch, Vertex AI, or Sagemaker.
Demonstrate proven capability in constructing, scaling, and enhancing enterprise-grade machine learning systems.

Nice to Have

Practical background working with AI or large-scale infrastructure systems.
Hold a Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
