Key Responsibilities

By 60 days, the focus shifts to owning a backend area in trust, guardrails, or agent self-improvement, taking customer problems from specs to shipped systems while using AI coding tools. After 90 days, the candidate will operate as an independent owner, running the full improvement loop from deployment to observation while driving product reliability and developer experience.
Requirements
Candidates need a demonstrated track record of operating at a senior or staff scope, independently owning customer-facing backend product areas from ambiguous problems to production outcomes. Essential qualifications include strong hands-on experience with TypeScript, Node.js, Go, or comparable stacks, alongside the ability to design clear APIs, services, and data models. Applicants must have experience building distributed or asynchronous systems utilizing databases, queues, workflows, or event-driven patterns. Strong product judgment, production ownership, thoughtful use of AI-assisted development tools, self-direction, and clear communication skills are required.
