What you will do
- Lead, hire, and mentor the India Cloud and Platform SRE teams while managing performance and career development.
- Deliver the AWS platform roadmap alongside the Cloud Architect, focusing on multi-account structures and tenancy models.
- Manage sprint ceremonies, on-call rotations, and follow-the-sun handoffs with U.S. teams.
- Review high-impact infrastructure changes and write code to unblock team initiatives.
- Drive the automation of environment provisioning to streamline customer onboarding.
- Lead major incident response during India hours and oversee blameless postmortems and remediation backlogs.
What you need
- Demonstrated experience in people leadership within cloud engineering or site reliability engineering environments.
- Hands-on expertise with AWS architecture, multi-account environments, and infrastructure as code.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and automated environment provisioning.
- Experience managing on-call rotations, defining operational metrics, and handling incident response.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across international time zones and leadership tiers.
