As the Legal Engineer Manager, you will guide and mentor a group of skilled legal professionals who help prospective law firm and in-house clients understand the platform. You will oversee daily pre-sales operations, collaborate closely with Account Executives to shape deal strategy, and ensure that field insights directly influence product development.

What you will do
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Legal Engineers while setting clear performance expectations and fostering a high-output culture.
- Own the overall quality and consistency of the pre-sales legal engineering function across discovery conversations and deal support.
- Partner with Account Executives and go-to-market leadership to prioritize the pipeline and support conversion on strategic opportunities.
- Engage directly with prospective lawyers to understand their daily workflow challenges and demonstrate relevant platform features.
- Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to channel field insights into product positioning and roadmap development.
- Travel periodically to visit customer office locations and company offices as needed.
What you need
- Qualified lawyer with 7 plus years of post-qualification experience within a law firm or in-house legal environment.
- Prior experience managing a team with a demonstrated track record of developing talent and driving performance.
- Deep familiarity with legal technology and artificial intelligence tools alongside the ability to quickly master platform expertise.
- Strong commercial instincts and the capability to engage credibly with senior stakeholders at law firms and corporate legal teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills demonstrated through running training, workshops, or client-facing sessions.
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a pragmatic and solutions-oriented approach.
