About this role
Developing new modeling capabilities for the GoldSim simulation framework involves taking ownership of the numerical solutions and underlying mathematical algorithms from theoretical foundation to implementation in C++. The engineering team builds dynamic simulation software utilized for water resources, environmental systems, and complex engineering challenges. Operating as a senior team member, the person in this role collaborates across the full development lifecycle, builds and verifies models, and partners closely with software engineers and the founding engineer to modernize algorithmic infrastructure.
Datacor provides software solutions for process manufacturing and environmental modeling through companies like GoldSim. This opening exists to support customers who model critical water supplies and environmental safety by advancing the platform's numerical capabilities. A suitable candidate brings a strong background in applied math, extensive C++ experience, and curiosity for modern computational approaches including machine learning.
