Role Overview

The Lead Full-Stack Software Engineer role at Datacor is a remote position focused on modernizing the company's flagship enterprise-grade ERP platform. Key Responsibilities

Design and ship full-stack features, ranging from database schemas and backend services to user-facing web interfaces.
Develop new domain modules adhering to established architectural patterns, ensuring multi-tenant correctness through proper migrations, Row-Level Security, and query context.
Integrate shared platform services including real-time updates, background jobs, email, document intelligence, file storage, and auth systems.
Utilize AI coding assistants like Claude Code to boost productivity while maintaining code quality and sound architectural judgment.
Elevate engineering standards through thorough code reviews, type-safety, performance optimization, and trunk-based development practices.
Partner cross-product with QA, UX, technical leads, and domain experts to transform requirements into robust software.
Drive platform growth by refining shared libraries, metadata systems, and developer tooling.

Requirements

Bring at least five years of professional software engineering experience developing production web applications.
Demonstrate strong TypeScript skills across backend and frontend environments.
Possess solid React expertise utilizing hooks, component composition, state management, and performance tuning.
Show server-side proficiency with Node.js and structured frameworks such as NestJS, Express, or Fastify.
Maintain relational database fluency, specifically with PostgreSQL schema design, indexing, and migrations, alongside ORM familiarity.
Understand multi-tenant or SaaS architecture, tenant isolation, and scoped queries.
Practice modern delivery workflows including Git, CI/CD, testing, and pull requests.
Exhibit proven productivity with AI coding assistants alongside strong written and verbal communication.

Nice to Have

Domain knowledge in ERP or business applications such as general ledger, inventory, purchasing, sales orders, or accounts receivable and payable.
Process-manufacturing industry exposure in sectors like chemicals, food and beverage, or coatings, including lot tracking and compliance.
Hands-on AWS experience covering ECS, RDS, S3, CDK, or Bedrock.
Production experience with LLM integration, RAG, or document intelligence.
Background in internationalization and accessibility for multi-locale products.
