This internship exists to empower emerging talent to take full ownership of projects from research to deployment alongside a supportive cross-functional group. An ideal candidate brings strong programming skills in Python and a solid academic foundation in machine learning or deep learning from an advanced degree program.
What you will do
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify new artificial intelligence opportunities and create intelligent applications.
- Lead minimum viable product development using a test-and-learn approach with cross-functional teams.
- Iterate smoothly from problem framing to prototyping and deploying production-grade solutions.
- Build prototypes and develop necessary data pipelines for deployment.
- Experiment with generative large language models to create and enhance applications using prompts and user feedback.
- Clearly communicate technical efforts and business impact to both technical and non-technical audiences.
What you need
- Currently enrolled in a Master's or PhD program in Computational Data Science, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related fields.
- Proven expertise in implementing and fine-tuning generative AI large language models alongside strong natural language processing knowledge.
- Solid academic or practical foundation in deep learning, machine learning, statistics, and optimization.
- Proficiency in Python and C++ or Java programming through academic or work experience.
- Familiarity with cloud computing and artificial intelligence deployment on AWS or Google Cloud.
