Managing the complex global systems and workflows that power Harvey's finance organization requires dedicated ownership as the company scales rapidly. Sitting within the Business Technology team, the Lead Product Owner for Finance Applications addresses the intricate challenges of scaling international entities, multi-currency accounting, and usage-based billing models.
This practitioner will directly configure, maintain, and optimize core platforms including NetSuite, Zip, Ramp, Brex, and Metronome while eliminating manual spreadsheet work and email approvals. Partnering closely with Accounting, FP&A, Revenue Operations, and Procurement, the ideal candidate translates ambiguous business needs into scalable solutions, designs robust data architectures, and introduces practical AI automation to streamline financial operations.
What you will do
- Act as the product owner for core finance business process areas like order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and record-to-report, owning the roadmap and target-state design.
- Tackle complex domain challenges such as international expansion, multi-entity tax complexity, and novel pricing and revenue recognition models.
- Develop and maintain a holistic architecture strategy for the finance applications ecosystem and integrations with adjacent tools like Workday and Salesforce.
- Eliminate manual work and spreadsheets by implementing core configurations, automated workflows, and integrations.
- Configure, maintain, and optimize NetSuite, Zip, Ramp, Brex, Metronome, and other spend and revenue system workflows.
- Identify, test, and implement practical AI and automation opportunities to drive measurable time savings.
- Ensure quality across applications with lightweight SDLC, change management, regression planning, and segregation of duties.
What you need
- Bring over 7 years of hands-on experience as a finance systems professional.
- Possess at least 5 years of direct NetSuite experience with complex configuration depth supporting global, multi-entity, and multi-currency organizations.
- Demonstrate product owner or product manager experience in at least one core finance business process area.
- Showcase excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to build cross-functional alignment and set technical standards.
- Demonstrate the ability to autonomously solve ambiguous, high-stakes process problems without an existing playbook.
- Understand leading and emerging trends in SaaS finance applications, architecture, automation, and AI.
- Have direct experience implementing best practices around change management, UAT planning, and regulatory requirements.
