Key Responsibilities

Build ingestion pipelines and connectors that integrate enterprise data from sources like Snowflake warehouses, SharePoint libraries, high-velocity news feeds, and live pricing data into the Hebbia platform.
Design and operate data pipelines capable of managing failures, massive scale, and complex edge cases.
Troubleshoot and debug issues spanning data formats, authentication systems, and third-party APIs during live operations.
Take complete ownership of system reliability, handling monitoring, alerting, on-call duties, and incident response.
Develop and enhance internal observability tools and tooling to increase overall system robustness.
Collaborate alongside product and customer success teams to prioritize, scope, and deliver high-value integration features.
Create and release agents positioned over the ingestion layer to make enterprise data actionable across document analysis and structured query workflows.

Requirements

Possess two to five years of software engineering experience, preferably within a high-growth technology company or startup environment.
Demonstrate strong proficiency using Python to build backend services and APIs.
Bring direct experience in building or maintaining third-party API integrations, including handling OAuth flows, pagination, rate limiting, and real-world failure patterns.
Show familiarity with cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS, along with tools such as Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL, or ElasticSearch.
Maintain an operational mindset that embraces production ownership, on-call responsibilities, and first-class reliability.
Exhibit strong debugging instincts to trace data issues from logs and API responses to the root cause.
Communicate clearly when explaining technical problems to non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrate an autonomous and self-directed work ethic with high ownership and minimal supervision.

Nice to Have

Prior integration experience with enterprise data platforms such as Salesforce, SharePoint, or Snowflake.
Familiarity with content extraction systems or document processing pipelines.
Experience designing LLM-enabled products or agentic systems.
Regular usage of modern AI tools in daily development workflows, such as Claude Code or Cursor.
