About this role

Role Overview

Coram AI is hiring an Infrastructure Software Engineer for a full-time, onsite position based in London. This role suits a technical professional with three or more years of experience who wants to build and maintain cloud and edge stacks for a modern video security platform.

Key Responsibilities

Write and maintain production-grade software code for custom edge infrastructure stacks.
Provision and maintain resources running on AWS.
Build provisioning and management solutions across hundreds of thousands of connected IoT devices deployed in the field.
Build CI and CD along with automation pipelines for various parts of the stack.
Build observability and telemetry across cloud applications and edge devices.
Help maintain compliance with various security standards, including SOC2 and HIPAA.
Maximize developer productivity by streamlining development workflows.

Requirements

Bring at least three years of experience writing production infrastructure running on AWS using infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
Possess experience with Docker and Kubernetes, particularly EKS.
Have three or more years of experience with Python, Go, or another modern programming language.
Demonstrate experience building CI/CD pipelines and automating various stack components.
Be able to work in an onsite environment in London.
Show resilience in challenging and fast-paced environments along with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

Nice to Have

Self-hosting and maintaining observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
Background in edge and IoT infrastructure, including Yocto, IoT device provisioning, and over-the-air updates.
Experience with remote management of on-premises infrastructure, hybrid setups, or multi-cloud.
Experience maintaining SOC 2 compliance.
Background in building high-volume data-processing pipelines.
