Role Overview

Sarvam AI is seeking a GTM & Strategy professional for Model API in Bengaluru to manage full lifecycle customer relationships and bridge the gap between clients and research teams. This full-time position suits someone with a strong technical curiosity, a background in customer-facing technology roles, and a desire to work at the forefront of sovereign artificial intelligence in India.

Key Responsibilities

Take complete ownership of API client relationships from initial demonstrations and onboarding to full production integration.
Create scripts and small demonstration applications to remove technical hurdles and help clients deploy working products quickly.
Act as the internal advocate for clients by delivering detailed feedback on model performance, such as translation failures or transcription errors, directly to engineering and research teams.
Gather market intelligence by observing client projects, analyzing competitors, and sharing strategic insights with product and go-to-market teams.

Requirements

Three or more years of experience in a client-facing technology capacity such as solutions engineering, pre-sales, developer advocacy, or customer success.
Solid technical foundation including the ability to read API documentation and write basic scripts in Python or JavaScript.
Strong communication skills that enable confident interactions with both technical developers and business leaders.
Genuine interest in artificial intelligence and the capability to diagnose and describe model behaviors with precision.
High level of organization and proactiveness to manage multiple tasks independently.

Nice to Have

Prior experience working directly with engineering or research groups to translate client complaints into reproducible bug reports.
Working knowledge of document processing, speech, or Large Language Model APIs.
Personal portfolio or project history involving API development or side builds.
