Redwood Software is seeking a skilled Full Stack Engineer to join the engineering team located in Houten, Netherlands. This position suits an experienced developer who leverages AI-driven software development to build advanced enterprise automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable Java microservices utilizing Spring Boot and the broader Spring ecosystem.
Use AI coding assistants like GitHub Copilot and Claude Code to accelerate development workflows and offload repetitive tasks.
Review, debug, and optimize AI-generated code to ensure high standards of performance, security, and enterprise design patterns.
Implement distributed connectivity components across hybrid SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments to maintain low latency and clean data structures.
Apply advanced prompt engineering techniques to generate comprehensive unit tests, integration tests, and technical documentation.
Manage and improve automated build, test, and deployment pipelines using Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD tools within cloud environments.

Requirements

At least 5 years of professional experience building enterprise-level applications with modern Java and Java 8+.
Strong proficiency in the Spring Ecosystem, Object-Oriented Design, software design patterns, and microservices architecture.
Demonstrated background in SAP Clean Core principles, SAP Basis administration concepts, system architecture, and RFC connections.
Solid practical knowledge of multithreading and concurrency in Java.
Experience with DevOps practices including Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and ReactJS.
Working knowledge of relational databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL, alongside NoSQL databases like MongoDB and Redis.
Proven ability to use AI-powered developer tools in production while applying strict code judgment to architectural integrity.
Strong cloud-first mentality with expertise in Amazon Web Services.

Nice to Have

Experience working with message queues such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
Familiarity with agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.
Knowledge of test-driven development and behavior-driven development principles.
Prior background in the SaaS or automation industry.
Contributions to open-source projects or an active GitHub portfolio.
