UJET is hiring a remote Full Stack Engineer to join the AI Platform team and build internal products that empower teams to create agentic applications. Role Overview

In this remote position within the Data and AI engineering division, the chosen candidate will bridge full-stack product engineering, data systems, and AI-enabled customer experiences. The professional will develop internal tools, services, and platform capabilities that enable engineers to build robust artificial intelligence applications. While open to candidates across the United States, there is a specific preference for applicants residing in Maine.

Key Responsibilities

Design and maintain internal full-stack products used to develop, test, evaluate, and operate artificial intelligence agents and features.
Create backend services, application programming interfaces, software development kits, workflows, and integrations connecting models with enterprise data.
Build reusable platform features for agent orchestration, prompt management, tool utilization, human review, and workflow automation.
Develop evaluation, observability, debugging, and quality-control systems to measure artificial intelligence behavior accurately.
Establish secure patterns for data access, tool invocation, permission management, and safety guardrails.
Collaborate with application and infrastructure engineering teams to translate needs into durable platform solutions.
Enhance developer experience by providing clear abstractions, documentation, templates, and reliable paved paths.

Requirements

Minimum of two years of professional software engineering experience.
Solid production background utilizing Python.
Background in developing full-stack applications, backend services, application programming interfaces, developer tools, or platform products.
Experience working with data-intensive applications, data pipelines, analytics workflows, or operational data systems.
Familiarity or hands-on involvement with large language models, artificial intelligence agents, model application programming interfaces, and retrieval systems.
Strong software engineering fundamentals including testing, debugging, version control, security, and observability.
Authorization to work for any employer in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.
