Role Overview

Pangram Labs seeks a Full-Stack Engineer to join the engineering team in Brooklyn, New York. The person in this role will handle the entire product lifecycle across both business and consumer verticals. Responsibilities include collaborating with product managers and designers, designing product workflows, developing clean user interfaces, building APIs and microservices, and managing observability and instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver product features completely from start to finish within consumer and B2B sectors.

Collaborate with research, product, and go-to-market teams to transform machine learning technology into refined user experiences.

Transform design prototypes and specifications into functional, shippable products.

Perform code reviews to elevate quality standards throughout the organization.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of professional software engineering experience.

Proficiency in Python and modern frontend frameworks, specifically React, Next.js, and TypeScript.

Expertise in relational databases, microservices, and APIs.

Background in integrating third-party services.

Proficiency with AI coding tools alongside a thoughtful approach to their usage.

Residence in the NYC area or willingness to relocate for hybrid office work.

Capability across the technology stack with strength in either frontend or backend and comfort in the other.

Demonstrated product taste, craftsmanship, clear communication skills, and a bias for action.

Nice to Have

Prior experience building browser extensions.

Background in developing mobile applications.

Previous work experience at an early-stage startup.

Passion for artificial intelligence, machine learning, large language models, responsible AI, and AI safety.
