Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

Conduct investigations regarding frontier artificial intelligence detection or related subjects

Collaborate with an assigned mentor following the selection of a specific study area

Participate in active research tracks including adversarial robustness, interpretability, mixed human and artificial intelligence authorship, new architectures, multimodal detection, foundation model training effects, or agentic detection

Propose original topics relevant to artificial intelligence detection

Requirements

Current enrollment in a Master of Science or doctoral program in Computer Science or Artificial Intelligence, or exceptional undergraduate status entering the senior year

Prior research background resulting in a published paper in a top artificial intelligence venue

Strong fluency in deep learning fundamentals alongside practical experience training neural networks

Proficiency in Python programming and a deep learning framework such as PyTorch

Practical background utilizing artificial intelligence agents for research tasks like Claude Code or Codex
