Role Overview

Snowflake seeks a professional to join the Cortex AI Applications group in Menlo Park, California. The selected candidate will build scalable, responsive, and intuitive user interfaces that allow enterprises to interact with structured data. Responsibilities cover the full product lifecycle from conception through production deployment.

Key Responsibilities

Build and deliver user-facing frontend features, moving concepts from design into production-ready deployments.
Write TypeScript and React code following engineering best practices.
Take part in frontend architecture discussions, design reviews, and peer code reviews.
Work alongside product managers and UX/UI designers to transform requirements into technical tasks and UI components.
Optimize and monitor platform responsiveness, availability, and user experience.
Integrate APIs and collaborate with backend teams to support AI inference and data retrieval services.
Utilize AI coding assistants like Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex during daily development.

Requirements

Three or more years of professional experience building production web applications.
Active use of AI coding assistants in daily engineering tasks.
Practical knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and the modern React ecosystem.
Understanding of computer science fundamentals including algorithms, data structures, UI design patterns, and state management.
Ability to convert design mockups and product specifications into code.
Communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to Have

Experience building LLM-powered applications or conversational user interfaces.
Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Exposure to data analytics, business intelligence tools, or data visualization frameworks.
Basic knowledge of backend services, REST or GraphQL APIs, and AI or machine learning model serving systems.
