Role Overview

Frontdesk AI is hiring a full-time Founding Frontend Engineer for the Oodle department located in Bengaluru. This on-site role is tailored for a driven professional with at least eight years of total experience who wants to build a category-defining observability platform from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Build reusable and efficient frontend systems that power complex web applications.
Partner directly with founders, backend engineers, and product designers using tools like Figma, TypeScript, and React.
Conduct rapid experiments to uncover customer needs, clear up ambiguities, and prioritize critical product features.
Locate performance bottlenecks to help scale the frontend architecture effectively.
Shape the foundational company culture and contribute to future team growth.

Requirements

Minimum of five years of relevant software development experience.
Extensive proficiency in JavaScript, React JS, ES6, asynchronous programming, closures, and types.
Solid fluency in HTML, CSS, and modern web technologies.
Strong eye for web design and bringing consumer-grade simplicity to enterprise tools.
Entrepreneurial mindset with an intense drive to build extraordinary things.
Ability to work entirely on-site in Bengaluru at WeWork Embassy Tech Village.

Nice to Have

Generalist capabilities allowing work across the stack, including frontend, design, and full-stack tasks as needed.
Knowledge of web server optimization techniques and protocols.
Exposure to Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Models.
Prior background in developing user-facing software for observability solutions.
