About this role

Designing and scaling programs that turn in-person engagement into enterprise pipeline forms the core of daily operations for this role. Operating as an equal partner on a small field marketing team, the chosen professional will divide a diverse portfolio based on company priorities, geography, and personal strengths. Responsibilities include setting high-level strategy while executing every detail of third-party sponsorships and company-led events.

Collaboration happens closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Growth, Partnerships, and Customer Success to identify target audiences and measure business impact. Ideal candidates bring generalist experience spanning conference floors, regional plans, and executive dinners. A hands-on approach is necessary for managing agencies, budgets, and end-to-end event production while maintaining a strong focus on pipeline conversion and ROI.

What you will do

  • Co-own the field marketing strategy by building a portfolio around company priorities, target accounts, and pipeline goals alongside a team member.
  • Design programs centered on clear audiences, conversion paths, and follow-up plans that transform field engagement into active pipeline.
  • Evaluate third-party conferences, negotiate sponsorship packages, and coordinate on-site presence to produce a measurable return on investment.
  • Run high-impact company-led events such as executive dinners, regional roadshows, customer workshops, and hackathons.
  • Partner closely with Sales teams on target-account lists, meeting goals, on-site roles, and post-event follow-up motions.
  • Measure outcomes by tracking metrics from initial registration through to sourced and influenced revenue and program ROI.
  • Build the operational foundation by creating planning cadences, intake processes, event tiers, and reporting mechanisms.

What you need

  • Bring 5 or more years of professional experience in field marketing and event marketing, preferably within enterprise technology or B2B SaaS.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of building and scaling event portfolios that deliver measurable pipeline or deal-acceleration results.
  • Operate as a versatile, hands-on generalist capable of moving seamlessly between high-level strategy and detailed event production.
  • Possess strong event planning skills covering intimate executive programs as well as larger conferences and roadshows.
  • Maintain collaborative, low-ego working habits with experience sharing contexts and dividing large portfolios with peers.
  • Show analytical rigor through setting targets, managing budgets, and reporting on CRM data and pipeline metrics.
  • Maintain a willingness to travel frequently in order to manage events and oversee on-site field activations.
