About this role

Professionals who combine technical fluency, strong facilitation, and a track record of building onboarding and adoption programs that scale will find a natural fit at Perplexity. The team builds Perplexity Computer, a platform that enables enterprise customers to construct AI-powered workflows capable of navigating tools, interacting with applications, and completing multi-step work. This role exists to design and deliver the programs that move organizations from initial access to confident, sustained use.

Daily responsibilities include creating onboarding journeys for varying levels of readiness, leading customer workshops and office hours, diagnosing adoption barriers, and turning repeated questions into scalable guidance. Working closely with Customer Success, Applied AI Architects, Product, Marketing, and Support, the person in this position owns the enablement programs that help customers and customer success managers become self-sufficient. Success in the role requires an ability to teach complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, diagnose integration or configuration blockers, and operate effectively within a fast-moving environment.

What you will do

  • Design and build onboarding and adoption programs for customer cohorts with varied technical readiness and AI experience.
  • Lead technical kickoffs, workshops, office hours, remote sessions, onsite programs, webinars, and train-the-trainer experiences.
  • Explain Computer and agentic-workflow concepts clearly to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Guide customers through setup steps including access, members, permissions, connectors, credits, models, and initial workflows.
  • Diagnose whether customer adoption is blocked by knowledge, readiness, process, configuration, product capability, or technical complexity.
  • Route complex requests to Applied AI Architects, Customer Success, Support, Product, or Engineering with clear handoffs.
  • Develop scalable curricula, customer checklists, implementation guidance, lifecycle communications, and videos from recurring needs.
  • Use product and usage data to segment customers, identify stalls, deliver targeted interventions, and measure activation and effectiveness.

What you need

  • Bring at least four years of experience in technical onboarding, customer enablement, implementation, solutions consulting, customer education, or technically oriented Customer Success.
  • Demonstrate a proven ability to design and deliver onboarding, training, or adoption programs across live and self-service formats.
  • Possess strong facilitation and communication skills to explain complex product and AI concepts to various audiences.
  • Display technical fluency regarding permissions, connectors, models, credits, workflows, and common integration concepts.
  • Apply strong diagnostic judgment to determine the root cause of customer adoption barriers.
  • Utilize usage data and a data-informed mindset to identify adoption gaps, trigger interventions, and evaluate impact.
  • Operate effectively across cross-functional teams including Customer Success, Sales, Product, Marketing, and Support.
  • Exhibit high ownership by setting clear expectations, improving weak processes, and managing tasks in a fast-moving environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience with AI products, agentic workflows, enterprise SaaS, or other technically complex platforms
