Key Responsibilities

Own the vision and execution of the modern data infrastructure, acting as the ultimate technical authority on data engineering to ensure scalable pipelines.
Champion strict data security, privacy, and governance protocols to protect global payroll, HR, and compliance records.
Transform complex datasets into clear, actionable strategies by partnering with Marketing, Sales, Operations, Finance, and Legal departments.
Lead the initiative to make Pebl an AI-native company by bringing AI capabilities to R&D offerings like the compliance assistant, Alfie.
Act as the primary data storyteller, presenting complex insights compellingly to the executive team and board of directors.
Build and foster a high-performing team of data engineers, analysts, and AI specialists while cultivating a data-driven corporate mindset.

Requirements

Bring 15 or more years of professional experience in data engineering, data science, or analytics.
Accumulate a minimum of 5 years working in a senior leadership role.
Demonstrate hands-on mastery of modern data infrastructure stacks including Snowflake, Fivetran, Atlan, Looker, and Monte Carlo.
Show a proven track record of deploying large language models, machine learning models, and AI tools for production products and internal operations.
Exhibit cross-functional business acumen by collaborating with marketing, sales, finance, legal, and operations to tie data to growth and efficiency.
Fulfill the hybrid work style requirement by operating from the Palo Alto office Monday through Wednesday.
