Role Overview

The Data Governance Analyst position at Delinea is an execution-focused role based in Mexico City that requires working from the Reforma office on a hybrid schedule from Tuesday through Thursday. This professional acts as the front line for account hierarchy accuracy, deduplication, and sanctions screening within an AI-first operating model.

Key Responsibilities

Execute daily maintenance and updates of account hierarchy relationships in Salesforce, focusing heavily on US Federal, Strategic, and Enterprise accounts.

Investigate and resolve flagged duplicate contact and account records using data-quality tools while adhering to deduplication standards.

Research and validate parent-child account relationships to ensure a single, accurate customer hierarchy source of truth.

Maintain clear, audit-ready documentation for every deduplication action and hierarchy change to meet IPO-readiness data control standards.

Perform OFAC and sanctions screening on in-process deals and channel-sourced opportunities as early as possible and always before booking.

Escalate flagged matches promptly to the Manager and Legal or Compliance teams following established procedures.

Research and validate new account creation requests in Salesforce, ensuring correct placement within the customer hierarchy and meeting established SLAs.

Flag ambiguous, unclear, or high-risk account creation requests to the Manager for guidance.

Review and validate AI-flagged findings from detection, matching, and research automation tools before making or recommending transactional system changes.

Provide performance feedback on tooling accuracy and identify recurring data quality issues or process gaps to recommend workflow improvements.

Requirements

Possess 1 to 3 years of professional experience in data governance, data quality, or Salesforce data operations.

Demonstrate direct, hands-on experience working with the Salesforce account and contact data model.

Bring a detail-oriented mindset with the ability to operate comfortably within SLAs and a controls-oriented environment.

Show a demonstrated interest in applying AI and automation tools to operational or data quality workflows.

Fluent English language proficiency.

Hold a completed Bachelor's degree.

Must be based in Mexico City and able to work on a hybrid schedule.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with data quality and deduplication tooling such as Openprise, Cloudingo, Data.com, or Validity/DemandTools.

Basic familiarity with OFAC or sanctions screening processes, or a strong capacity to quickly learn compliance-driven workflows.
