Role Overview

Cloud Security Lead is a full-time position based in the Foster City, CA office with an in-office requirement on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The position focuses on shaping the cloud and infrastructure security program to protect millions of developers and secure multi-tenant AI infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Lead configuration hardening across GCP while overseeing workloads and integrations in AWS and Azure.
Own and optimize Cloud Security Posture Management platforms to establish configuration baselines and guardrails.
Protect critical SaaS platforms and manage infrastructure vulnerability management across multi-cloud systems and containers.
Enhance security across containerized and Kubernetes workloads including runtime protections and network policies.
Assess secure logging configurations and partner with engineering teams to embed security into development workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate across departments, communicate security updates to customers, and support incident investigations.

Requirements

Seven plus years of experience in cloud engineering, with three plus years in a senior or lead role.
Hands-on experience with Cloud Security Posture Management tools such as Wiz, Lacework, Prisma, Orca, or Security Command Center.
Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform security including IAM, VPC, KMS, GKE, and Cloud Logging.
Experience securing SaaS platforms, identity integrations, and infrastructure vulnerability management.
Working knowledge of AWS and Azure security services, alongside container and Kubernetes security across GKE, EKS, or AKS.
Strong Infrastructure as Code security experience using Terraform or Pulumi, and familiarity with compliance frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS.

Nice to Have

Experience supporting engineering teams in building secure-first, cloud-native, or PaaS environments.
Background securing AI and machine learning pipelines, model-serving infrastructure, or developer platform services.
Experience in high-growth technology or cloud-native product companies.
Background in securing AI and agentic systems alongside sensitive data pipelines.
Automation and scripting capabilities using Python.
Relevant professional certifications such as GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer or equivalent AWS and Azure credentials.
