Design and maintain robust, flexible, and maintainable systems that ensure high scalability and rapid development.
Deliver new functionality that is critical for onboarding important new partners.
Run randomised control trials and optimise user funnels to measurably improve conversion rates for partner-referred customers.
Write clear technical specs, leverage AI coding tools for boilerplate implementation, and hold a high bar on code reviews.
Collaborate closely with internal commercial stakeholders, data scientists, and fellow engineers to design effective solutions.

Requirements

Experience in designing and building scalable back-end systems, with a preference for Python.
Experience working with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL, keeping performance and maintainability in mind.
Experience building and maintaining APIs that remain easy to use, reliable, and thoroughly documented.
Strong project management skills to handle initiatives end-to-end, from business problem discovery to technical delivery.
Pragmatic approach to balancing delivery speed with long-term system health.
Clear, concise written and verbal communication focused strongly on outcomes and impact.
A team player mentality geared toward supporting teammates and sharing knowledge.
AI fluency, including experience using AI coding tools to accelerate real delivery with a solid grasp on correctness, performance, and security.

Nice to Have

Front-end development experience, particularly utilizing React and TypeScript.
