Role Overview

Almetra seeks an Applied AI Intern to join the team in Berlin. The position centers on managing customer onboarding cycles, validating input data, and refining operational processes within an artificial intelligence software environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with onboarding outcomes measured against customer KPIs and success metrics, including quality and time-to-value.
Execute onboarding cycles utilizing internal tools while iterating based on new edge cases and data.
Verify input data quality, identifying potential issues such as occlusions, missing detections, variance, and camera angles.
Document process variance and edge cases to help build a diverse dataset.
Share progress reports, metrics changes, and blockers with the team while proposing actionable next steps.
Enhance onboarding documentation, checklists, templates, and internal tools.
Coordinate alongside installation teams to ensure reliable camera setups and cross-station consistency.

Requirements

Current student or recent graduate aiming for a structured role in implementation, quality assurance, data operations, industrial engineering, or solutions engineering.
Analytical mindset focused on defining, tracking, and improving performance metrics.
High attention to detail and consistent execution without skipping process steps.
Concise communication skills for early and clear issue escalation.
Strong sense of ownership to follow tasks through and continuously improve results.
Ability to reason through technical system symptoms and inputs without requiring a machine learning background.
