Role Overview

Almetra is hiring an AI Onboarding Engineer to be based in Berlin. The position focuses on driving customer onboarding success metrics, managing initial setup cycles, and improving data quality for industrial intelligence systems.

Key Responsibilities

Manage customer onboarding results relative to defined success metrics, key performance indicators, reliability standards, and time-to-value targets.
Run the initial onboarding workflow using internal systems, then refine the process iteratively based on emerging operational data and edge cases.
Check input data for quality issues such as camera angle, occlusion, anonymization problems, variance, and missing detections, flagging discrepancies early.
Identify and record edge cases and process variations to expand and maintain an updated dataset.
Report progress, metric shifts, and obstacles to stakeholders while suggesting actionable next steps.
Refine onboarding materials including documentation, templates, checklists, and tool enhancement requests.
Partner with installation crews to verify proper camera positioning for reliable deployment and consistency across stations.

Requirements

Possess between 2 and 5 years of professional background in structured execution fields such as implementation, quality assurance, solutions engineering, operational engineering, data operations, or industrial engineering.
Maintain a metrics-driven approach to establish benchmarks, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement.
Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and reliable process adherence with strong documentation practices.
Communicate quickly and concisely, escalating issues clearly and early in the process.
Exhibit strong ownership to guide onboarding projects through completion and ongoing post-launch improvements.
Demonstrate comfort working with technical systems without necessarily requiring deep machine learning expertise.
