Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

Build, own, and develop an artificial intelligence model aligned with core product needs within the first three months of employment.

Validate artificial intelligence product features through practical testing and user feedback.

Establish scalable MLOps pipelines and real-time inference services to handle model training, deployment, runtime, and monitoring.

Ensure model reliability and uptime by implementing monitoring systems across assigned work.

Identify and integrate structured, unstructured, batch, and real-time data sources from internal logs, application programming interfaces, user interactions, and third-party datasets.

Track emerging artificial intelligence trends, document development best practices, and contribute to the hiring and mentoring of technical talent.

Requirements

Professional expertise in at least one programming language including Python, C++, or C.

Hands-on experience with artificial intelligence and machine learning training and fine-tuning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, CUDA, and Jupyter Notebooks.

Familiarity with large language models, open-source models including Llama, Anthropic, and Mistral, LangChain, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, Hugging Face, and Exo Labs.

Practical background in data processing and pipeline frameworks like Apache Kafka, Apache Airflow, AWS Kinesis, pandas, and dbt.

Knowledge of model performance monitoring, data drift detection, and observability tools such as Grafana or Kibana.

Understanding of deep neural networks, over and underfitting, prompt engineering, and large language model security risks and protections.

United States citizenship as required by government contracts.

Nice to Have

Experience mentoring and upskilling junior engineers.

Familiarity with legacy systems and public sector customers.

Contributions to open-source artificial intelligence and machine learning projects.
