Role Overview

The AI Deployment Strategist position at Pigment in New York is a full-time professional services role dedicated to helping enterprise customers design, build, and deploy advanced artificial intelligence planning solutions. This position suits a technically skilled professional with a background in engineering, data science, or technical consulting who wants to work at the intersection of business strategy and software implementation.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and deploy custom agentic AI solutions and scalable planning models tailored to client workflows and decision-making needs.
Own the complete end-to-end implementation lifecycle of Pigment technology for key strategic customers.
Partner directly with technical and business stakeholders to serve as a trusted advisor, guide best practices, and drive software adoption.
Develop prototypes and experimental AI use cases to address emerging customer requirements and test new automated planning approaches.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Success, Solutions Architects, and Product teams to translate user feedback into actionable product requirements.
Train users and client teams on platform features, modeling best practices, and system design while defining repeatable deployment frameworks.

Requirements

Hold an engineering or computer science degree from a top-tier institution.
Bring two to five years of experience in a technical, implementation, or client-facing role such as a Forward Deployed Engineer, Data Scientist, AI Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Consultant.
Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills focused on data modeling, business logic design, and applied artificial intelligence or machine learning workflows.
Demonstrate proficiency with structured modeling, formulas, and logic, alongside programming skills in Python, SQL, or related languages.
Maintain familiarity with SaaS platforms, planning tools, APIs, data pipelines, and system integration concepts.
Exhibit the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously within a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

Background experience in financial modeling, FP&A, or general business planning workflows.
Prior hands-on experience using Pigment or similar planning platforms.
Fluency in additional European languages outside of English.
