Fireworks AI is seeking an AI Deployment Strategist based in London to lead long-term customer relationships and drive enterprise AI adoption. Role Overview

As an AI Deployment Strategist, this position acts as the long-term owner of key customer accounts at Fireworks AI. The professional teams up with Account Executives before contract signature to scope pilots, define success criteria, and manage the technical aspects of commercial conversations. Following signature, the strategist retains ownership of the account to guide long-term adoption and expansion over several years. This opportunity is well-suited for ambitious individuals with first-principles thinking who can reason about novel problems from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end customer relationship and commercial outcomes following contract signature, driving ongoing adoption, expansion, and renewals.
Collaborate with Account Executives pre-signature to frame technical-commercial discussions, scope pilots, and establish clear success criteria.
Direct the operational rhythm between the customer and internal teams, including field deployment engineers, account machine learning engineers, product groups, and support.
Translate customer objectives into tangible deployment milestones to ensure successful implementation.
Identify and cultivate new workloads, teams, and use cases within existing accounts to drive strategic expansion.
Act as the internal voice of the customer, communicating account requirements with high technical precision for actionable product development.

Requirements

Three or more years of experience in positions combining commercial ownership with technical depth, such as deployment strategy, technical consulting, forward deployed engineering, or founder roles.
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or demonstrable equivalent technical depth.
Strong technical credibility to interact effectively with customer engineering leadership and internal field engineers while reasoning through AI infrastructure tradeoffs.
Proven track record of managing and owning long-horizon outcomes rather than handing responsibilities off post-sale.
Exceptional judgment, communication abilities, and stakeholder management skills geared toward senior audiences.
Exceptional first-principles and critical thinking capabilities to resolve complex problems without a reference implementation.

Nice to Have

Prior experience as a founder or founding team member, particularly serving as CEO or commercial lead for a technical product.
Direct background in deploying or operating AI and machine learning products in production environments for enterprise clients.
Familiarity with navigating complex enterprise constraints unique to the EMEA region, including procurement processes, data residency rules, GDPR, and the EU AI Act.
Past experience operating within startup settings or other fast-paced professional environments.

Skills and Tools

Technical depth in AI infrastructure tradeoffs and low-latency inference or scalable model serving.
Stakeholder management and enterprise commercial navigation.
Experience with PyTorch ecosystem environments and specialized intelligence platforms.
