The Agent Solutions Engineer position at Bland in San Francisco involves designing and deploying customized AI voice solutions for enterprise clients. Key Responsibilities

Design and deploy tailored AI solutions by translating customer challenges into functional agents and integrating necessary APIs and data sources.
Build initial prototypes quickly, launch them into production, and refine them based on real-world feedback.
Partner closely with customer engineering, product, and operations teams to guarantee performance, scalability, and measurable results.
Own the entire technical delivery lifecycle from discovery calls to testing, deployment, and ongoing iteration.
Drive adoption and expansion by sharing results, training teams, and finding new automation opportunities within client organizations.
Travel on-site to visit customer locations, build personal relationships with stakeholders, and lead training sessions and dinners.

Requirements

Bring 3 to 10 years of professional background in full-stack, AI, or solutions engineering where products were managed from concept to production.
Demonstrate hands-on experience building and integrating AI or automation features into real-world applications.
Possess practical experience integrating Large Language Models or AI software development kits into web applications.
Show strong familiarity working with REST and JSON, scripting languages like Python or JavaScript, and modern development tools such as Git, NPM, and PNPM.
Exhibit a proven track record of ownership, grit, and solving difficult technical problems.
Maintain excellent communication skills to explain advanced AI concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Thrive in a fast-moving, high-intensity environment with a willingness to work in-person frequently at the San Francisco headquarters and customer sites.

Nice to Have

Hands-on experience experimenting with or deploying LLM-powered tools or agents.
Prior startup or founder experience building without a playbook.
Strong curiosity regarding AI agent design, orchestration, and automation systems.
Experience working directly with clients to identify pain points and deliver shipped solutions.
A portfolio of personal or side projects demonstrating technical depth, persistence, and creativity.
