Bland is seeking a Product Designer in San Francisco to shape the interaction model and visual language of innovative AI phone agents. This full-time position suits an experienced designer with a strong background in B2B SaaS and a passion for generative design tools.

Role Overview

The Product Designer will take ownership of how the product looks and behaves, managing everything from the interaction model to the overall visual language. Working closely with the design lead and product managers, this role shapes the architecture and implementation of the design system. The professional joining this team will help finalize a ground-up dashboard redesign and establish visual standards that set benchmarks across the voice artificial intelligence industry.

Key Responsibilities

Own the design system, including architecture, components, motion, and enforcing usage within an AI-driven environment.
Design major product surfaces from initial behavior concepts through to the final shipped user interface.
Establish and evolve the product’s visual direction alongside expanding product surfaces.
Push pull requests containing frontend polish directly into the codebase using AI-assisted tools.
Solve complex product problems collaboratively with the design lead and product manager, carrying concepts through final execution.

Requirements

Bring at least 4 years of experience shipping web products, including professional background as a designer at an early-stage business-to-business software company.
Demonstrate exceptional visual work in a portfolio that showcases previously shipped, high-caliber designs.
Present a production-ready design system that was successfully adopted and utilized in a real product.
Possess deep expertise in interaction design, including attention to hover states, loading sequences, and dense data tables.
Show comfortability with artificial intelligence coding tools and the ability to implement frontend UI polish.
Maintain mastery in Figma and fluency with modern prototyping and next-generation workflow tools.

Nice to Have

Experience with brand-level thinking and the ability to influence or modify brand elements.
Expertise in motion design or generative visual creation.
Capability to write coherent frontend code independently.
