About this role

Lambda is searching for an Account CTO to join the Data Center Business team on a full-time, remote basis within the USA. This strategic leadership role suits an experienced cloud infrastructure professional who will act as the primary technical liaison and trusted advisor for key Superintelligence accounts.

Role Overview

The Account CTO will drive multi-year technology roadmaps and strategic account growth for top-tier customers. This position involves partnering closely with global account teams, leading enterprise-level architectural reviews, and serving as the Executive Technical Sponsor for critical customer initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary technical liaison for Lambda's strategic Superintelligence accounts.
Cultivate executive-level technical relationships to establish Lambda as a trusted technology partner.
Drive multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with customer objectives and product portfolios.
Lead architectural reviews, technology assessments, and define business value propositions, ROI models, and TCO analyses.
Orchestrate cross-functional teams including Solutions Engineers, Forward Deployed Engineers, Professional Services, and Product Management.
Guide customers through digital transformation journeys, AI/ML transformation, and emerging technology adoption.
Publish thought leadership content, speak at industry events, and influence Lambda's product strategy based on customer needs.

Requirements

15+ years of experience designing, deploying, and scaling cloud infrastructure.
6+ years of experience working directly with C-suite executives and senior leadership teams in advisory capacities.
5+ years driving cloud transformation initiatives at enterprise scale.
Proven track record of influencing C-suite executives and board-level stakeholders.
Deep expertise in AI/ML technologies and their business applications.
Experience with NVIDIA DGX/HGX/MGX systems, InfiniBand and RoCE networking, and large-scale GPU cluster deployments.
Experience with storage architectures including distributed file systems, object storage, high-performance parallel file systems, and NVMe-based solutions.
Hands-on experience with LLM training, fine-tuning, and inference at scale.
Experience managing or influencing deals worth $1B+ annually.
Strong business acumen with the ability to translate technology into business outcomes.

Nice to Have

MBA or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience as a CTO, VP of Engineering, Chief Architect, or Technical Fellow at a technology company with $100M+ revenue.
Track record working with AI labs, research institutions, or frontier model companies.
Board advisory experience for technology companies.
Published peer-reviewed research, whitepapers, or patents specifically in distributed computing, GPU acceleration, or large-scale ML training infrastructure.
