Formic

Formic delivers Robotics as a Service to mid-market consumer packaged goods manufacturers and other industrial operators through a fixed monthly price model requiring zero capital expenditure. The company provides integrated automation solutions including palletizing, case packing, machine tending, and material movement, combining industrial hardware with proprietary software such as its Cortex AI intelligence layer and Core safety execution layer. Its technology features vision-guided systems, closed-loop learning, and fleet-wide over-the-air updates to help customers overcome labor shortages and reduce ergonomic injuries.

The company is building out its Fleet Operations team, which works at the intersection of robotics, controls, and real-world factory execution to drive uptime and operational performance across deployed systems. Open roles include Robotics Field Service Technicians and Robotics Field Service Engineers operating within field-based assignments. These teams work directly inside live manufacturing environments to diagnose issues, execute preventive maintenance, and restore production.

Open positions span locations within the United States, including specific regional openings such as Atlanta, Georgia, as well as future openings across flexible U.S. territories. These roles are hands-on and onsite within customer facilities, requiring close collaboration with engineering and senior field staff to support long-term system reliability and customer satisfaction as the robot fleet scales.
