Role Overview

The Vice President of Product position directs product strategy, roadmap execution, and user experience design for sidewalk delivery robotics. Operating remotely within the USA, this executive role requires close collaboration with engineering, operations, data, safety, and business development leaders to align priorities and turn corporate strategy into execution.

Key Responsibilities

Build, mentor, and uplevel the product management and design teams while fostering an environment of cross-functional collaboration.
Formulate and maintain the product roadmap, translating business goals and user needs into concrete priorities and milestones.
Direct the design function, ensuring user-centered design practices and safety-focused principles are integrated from industrial design to operational tools.
Champion data-driven decision-making by utilizing qualitative and quantitative insights to evaluate tradeoffs and guide investments.
Serve on the leadership team to contribute to broader company strategy, establish clear accountability, and navigate operational constraints.

Requirements

Twelve or more years of progressive experience spanning product management, product strategy, design, or related technology leadership.
Minimum of five years of experience leading and developing product teams, including management of senior product leaders or multidisciplinary groups.
Demonstrated background in owning product strategy and roadmaps for complex technology products from initial concept through commercialization and scale.
Proven ability to translate technical capabilities, customer needs, and company strategy into clear product priorities and measurable outcomes.
Exceptional communication skills with experience partnering with executive leadership and external stakeholders.

Nice to Have

Background developing products involving robotics, autonomous systems, artificial intelligence, mobility, or logistics.
Experience working with physical-world products that balance safety, hardware constraints, reliability, and user experience.
History of leading both product management and product design organizations simultaneously.
Familiarity with B2B or B2B2C products involving enterprise customers, operators, and end consumers.
Experience with hardware, software, data, and operational tooling integrations.
Previous involvement in scaling product organizations through rapid company growth.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, design, business, or a related field, with advanced degrees considered a plus.
