Role Overview

The Vice President, People at Eve will oversee talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, retention, training, leadership development, compensation, and benefits globally. Operating as a strategic business advisor to executive and senior management, the leader will develop and implement comprehensive people strategies that support the company mission. This position ensures all human resources operations remain scalable, data-driven, and compliant with relevant laws and regulations while fostering a high-performance, inclusive culture.

Key Responsibilities

Build and provide guidance to the global People function across talent acquisition, training, retention, and compensation.
Function as a strategic business advisor to executive and senior management regarding organizational and management issues.
Develop and implement comprehensive People strategies that scale both domestically and globally.
Lead performance management from strategy through execution, including career frameworks and manager enablement programs.
Partner with leadership on compensation philosophy, equity strategy, and benchmarking tools.
Foster an inclusive company culture grounded in accountability, transparency, and operational excellence.
Own employee relations and partner with managers on coaching, development, and conflict resolution.
Manage policies, procedures, and programs that maximize people operations efficiency.

Requirements

15+ years of human resources experience, including at least five years of leadership and people management experience.
Background as a strategic leader who has created or significantly scaled People functions at fast-growth startups.
Experience acting as a thoughtful operator balancing empathy with strong business judgment.
Familiarity with modern people tools such as Pave and TriNet.

Nice to Have

Proven ability to lead complex HR initiatives independently within ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
Excitement for designing scalable systems and processes in high-velocity settings.
