Role Overview

As a Technical Recruiter focusing on security at Anthropic, you will join a compact team of recruiters dedicated to protecting the models, infrastructure, and people behind the organization. You will own full lifecycle recruiting searches from initial intake through the offer and closing stages, partnering closely with security leaders to translate complex hiring needs into actionable search strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end recruitment for a diverse portfolio of roles within the Security department.
Conduct structured intake sessions with security hiring managers to scope requirements, calibrate evaluation criteria, and define clear search plans.
Source and cultivate pipelines of specialized security professionals, placing a strong emphasis on passive talent.
Collaborate with hiring managers, recruiting partners, and operations to refine interview loops, take-home assignments, and scorecards.
Cultivate domain fluency to conduct credible conversations with various technical experts, including cryptographers and compliance leads.
Provide market data and candid feedback to guide hiring managers through complex decisions.
Partner with Compensation, People Partners, and Mobility to design equitable offers and successfully close candidates.
Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.

Requirements

Extensive full lifecycle recruiting background, with substantial experience supporting security, infrastructure, or comparable technical engineering teams.
Demonstrated ability to hold substantive technical conversations concerning application security, cloud security, detection, response, identity, or compliance.
Proficiency utilizing applicant tracking systems such as Greenhouse alongside modern sourcing platforms.
Direct partnership experience with hiring managers regarding intake, calibration, and interview loop design.
Independent judgment capabilities when assessing candidate quality across complex searches.
A genuine interest in the mission of Anthropic and the critical role of security functions.
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Nice to Have

Background in recruiting at high-growth technology, AI, or machine learning organizations.
Working knowledge of the security credential landscape and its practical applications.
Experience hiring for threat intelligence, incident response, insider risk, or physical security.
History of improving recruitment processes, market maps, or interview architectures.
Comfort leveraging large language models to accelerate sourcing, research, and market mapping.
