Role Overview

Anthropic is looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager to join the Technical Program Management team and steer critical cloud deployments. In this role, the execution owner drives coordination and collaboration across multiple internal engineering teams. The professional also supports technical execution between internal teams and major cloud partners like Amazon Bedrock, Google Vertex, and Microsoft Foundry. The primary focus centers on ensuring tight coordination to enable repeatable, efficient product development and launch pipelines for AI models on third-party platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with engineering leaders to define, scope, and sequence major technical initiatives for cloud partnerships and AI model deployment while owning plans, timelines, and resourcing.
Manage launch readiness for Claude models on partner cloud platforms through checklists, blocker tracking, joint go/no-go decisions, and post-launch stability follow-through.
Act as the primary technical interface to cloud partner engineering organizations, owning relationships, shared roadmaps, and day-to-day coordination on deployment, capacity, and incidents.
Drive cross-functional alignment across internal engineering, product, and go-to-market teams to land joint deliverables with partners.
Provide transparent reporting on program status, issues, and risks to executive leadership and stakeholders.

Requirements

Several years of experience in technical program management with a track record of successfully delivering complex technical programs, preferably involving cloud platforms and AI technologies.
Strong understanding of cloud computing architectures, AI/ML deployment, and integration challenges.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to influence without authority and build cross-organizational support.
High threshold for navigating ambiguity and the ability to balance strategic priorities with rapid, high-quality execution.
Minimum education of a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a relevant field of study.

Nice to Have

Direct experience with hyperscaler managed AI platforms such as Amazon Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, or Azure AI Foundry, including partner onboarding and listing processes.
Background in machine learning inference, model serving infrastructure, or accelerator-based compute.
Experience owning joint engineering roadmaps, dependency tracking, incident follow-through, and prioritized planning.
Experience with release engineering, deployment automation, or CI/CD for systems shipping to multiple targets.
