Role Overview

Anthropic is experiencing rapid growth across its billing surface, spanning new regions, channels, and products that require robust metering, pricing, invoicing, and reconciliation. This position involves partnering closely with billing engineering, finance and treasury, GTM systems, product, and support groups to shift the operational model from escalations to structured programs. The incoming professional will provide company leadership with visibility into program priorities, dependencies, and delivery progress.

Key Responsibilities

Direct cross-team programs responsible for establishing billing platform foundations, managing everything from scoping and tradeoffs to final delivery.
Standardize intake workflows for commercial projects by implementing framework-driven procedures with designated owners and clear dependencies.
Manage promotions and credit initiatives from initial proposal through configuration and financial reconciliation for both self-serve and sales-led channels.
Oversee commercialization and launch readiness to ensure new product and SKU rollouts feature fully operational pricing, metering, invoicing, and reporting.
Oversee change management protocols for the charge pipeline.
Execute payments operations programs alongside finance and treasury partners, including handling currency and foreign exchange matters.

Requirements

Possess at least six years of technical program management experience, featuring a proven history of managing end-to-end cross-functional programs.
Ability to understand payment flows, invoicing, metering, and their underlying data pipelines.
Experience executing launch readiness programs to ensure commercial and billing frameworks function prior to product shipping.
Demonstrated ability to build trust across diverse teams including engineering, finance, treasury, GTM systems, product, and support.
Preference for creating repeatable, scalable operational processes over applying ad-hoc manual fixes.
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience.
Relevant field of study demonstrated through coursework, professional practice, or training.
Compliance with the location-based hybrid policy requiring staff to work from an office at least 25% of the time.

Nice to Have

Practical knowledge of enterprise billing platforms, promotions, or credit programs.
Familiarity with treasury functions, foreign exchange, month-end close processes, or reconciliation.
Professional background in billing platform management, payments operations, or quote-to-cash product management.
Prior experience managing refund and chargeback operations.
