About this role
Translating complex inference optimizations, kernel scheduling, and quantization into compelling technical narratives for AI builders remains a core challenge for the platform. Together AI needs a technical marketing engineer to bridge the gap between internal engineering breakthroughs and the developer community that relies on them. Working closely with product, research, and customer experience teams, the person in this role will master the platform's nuanced details and transform them into engaging benchmarks, videos, and written content.
Success in this position requires a rare blend of deep technical literacy and native storytelling ability. Candidates must feel comfortable holding architectural discussions with engineers while driving engagement across digital and in-person communities. Someone who thrives on building technical content from the ground up and tracking performance metrics will find a natural home in this team.
What you will do
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and research teams to understand platform capabilities and extract key insights for developers.
- Formulate and execute a content strategy that highlights technical differentiation and resonates with technical audiences.
- Produce diverse technical content including blogs, videos, benchmark reports, and social media posts.
- Monitor AI infrastructure news and coordinate rapid responses with engineering and product groups.
- Manage and grow the company's presence across technical community platforms like X, Discord, and YouTube.
- Analyze engagement metrics to refine content approaches and amplify internal engineering publications.
- Design and host in-person meetups and events in cooperation with DevRel and events teams.
What you need
- Bring at least 3 years of experience in product, technical, or developer marketing.
- Demonstrate a background in producing content for infrastructure or technical systems rather than user-facing SaaS applications.
- Possess technical depth adequate for discussing architecture, performance, and tradeoffs directly with engineers.
- Provide a portfolio of self-created technical content accompanied by engagement metrics.
- Show familiarity with AI infrastructure components such as inference, fine-tuning, GPU compute, or model serving.
- Maintain hands-on experience running and interpreting performance benchmarks.
