The Technical Deployment Lead at Anthropic manages custom AI agent solutions for enterprise customers within the Claude Agentic Solutions team. This position operates out of Austin, TX, Boston, MA, New York City, NY, San Francisco, CA, or Seattle, WA, under a location-based hybrid policy requiring time in the office. Key Responsibilities

Manage the complete technical delivery plan for engagements, structuring statements of work with defined scopes, milestones, success criteria, and value hypotheses.
Lead technical discovery sessions to map customer workflows, establish minimum viable product scope, and shape solution architecture for custom agent deployments.
Direct daily engineering execution across Anthropic and client teams, keeping progress unblocked and sequencing priorities appropriately.
Oversee product scoping in the field, author requirements documentation, and guide the engineering backlog against evolving metrics.
Maintain strong customer relationships throughout delivery, hosting executive briefings and communicating effectively with technical and procurement stakeholders.
Measure business value and ROI by setting KPIs, evaluating pre- and post-deployment performance, and reporting back to executive sponsors.
Create reusable delivery assets, evaluation frameworks, and technical playbooks to share field insights with internal product and research teams.
Navigate enterprise complexities such as security reviews, legal approvals, compliance requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
Travel to customer sites between 25% and 50% of the time to build relationships, unblock delivery, and accelerate adoption.

Requirements

Experience leading artificial intelligence, machine learning, or large language model engagements and deployments through professional services, consulting, research, engineering, or founding roles.
Track record of delivering complex, high-stakes technical projects in specialized verticals such as financial services, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, retail, mining, or agriculture.
Capability to lead architecture discussions with engineering stakeholders, evaluate technical trade-offs, and guide technical direction alongside forward-deployed engineers without writing production code.
Exceptional executive presence with the ability to represent the organization credibly to senior leaders and C-suite sponsors.
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Experience successfully delivering AI, ML, or LLM-based agentic solutions directly into production environments.
