This non-quota-carrying position involves acting as the primary expert for both LiveKit and its clients, steering technical direction, and coordinating internal resources to drive positive customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Own the technical relationship and long-term trajectory for a portfolio of sophisticated voice AI and real-time engineering clients.
Conduct architecture reviews and design consultations to ensure customer deployments scale successfully.
Identify product adoption opportunities by closing gaps between client implementations and platform capabilities.
Coordinate the internal LiveKit team, collaborating with Developer Success Engineers, Forward Deployed Engineers, support, and core engineering.
Act as the voice of the customer internally, translating market feedback into product, pricing, and positioning insights.
Facilitate executive business reviews connecting platform performance to broader business goals and addressing potential technical risks.
Travel on-site for major customer launches and critical escalation responses.
Identify expansion opportunities and pass them to the sales team.
Establish foundational playbooks for the newly formed account management function.

Requirements

Bring eight or more years of experience in customer-facing technical positions such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Technical Account Manager, or senior engineering roles with client exposure.
Proven history of acting as a trusted technical advisor to engineering teams.
Strong fluency in developer-platform concepts, including SDKs, APIs, frameworks, and deployment patterns.
Familiarity with distributed, real-time, or developer-platform systems and the scaling challenges they present.
Capability to maintain a proactive portfolio management system rather than merely reacting to incidents.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills tailored for audiences ranging from developers to executives.

Nice to Have

Practical background working with WebRTC, SIP, media servers, or voice AI infrastructure.
Experience designing or running LLM agent systems, voice AI pipelines, or AI-native applications.
