About this role

The Supply Chain Delivery Manager, Data Center Power & Cooling OFE position at Anthropic is a senior individual-contributor role focused on managing high-value data center equipment from purchase order to dock. This remote-friendly position in the United States suits an experienced supply chain or infrastructure professional who thrives on execution, schedule management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Role Overview

Anthropic is expanding data center capacity rapidly, placing owner-furnished equipment (OFE) like switchgear, transformers, UPS, generators, chillers, and air handlers squarely on the construction critical path. As the site-facing supply chain lead for a regional portfolio of data center projects, this role tracks every equipment line item against the construction schedule. The successful candidate runs factory and logistics escalations, holds suppliers and general contractors accountable, and gives leadership clear visibility into delivery risks. This execution-focused position works alongside Construction, Engineering, Sourcing, and Commissioning teams to ensure equipment production never delays a site's ready-for-service date.

Key Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end OFE delivery plan for each site within the assigned regional portfolio, integrating order placement, engineering submittals, factory acceptance testing (FAT), and required-on-site (ROS) dates with general contractor schedules.
Lead OFE kickoff meetings during preconstruction, establish points of contact, and maintain a live single source of truth for equipment status across the portfolio.
Conduct weekly delivery cadences with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and integrators to verify true production progress against committed slots.
Serve as the primary escalation point for factory slips, component shortages, FAT failures, and shipping delays, partnering with Sourcing and Engineering on recovery plans.
Hold general contractor teams accountable for receiving, storage, and installation readiness, while coordinating transportation logistics for oversize or high-value equipment.
Identify and report delivery risks across the portfolio, lead recurring Capacity Delivery Reviews for leadership, and track key performance indicators to eliminate systemic issues.

Requirements

8 to 12+ years of professional experience in supply chain delivery, equipment expediting, construction management, or infrastructure program management for large-scale, schedule-driven construction programs.
Hands-on experience delivering power and cooling equipment for mission-critical facilities, such as transformers, switchgear, generators, UPS, chillers, and air handlers.
Demonstrated capability managing cross-functional escalations across construction teams, suppliers, and internal partners.
Ability to read and influence construction schedules using tools like P6 or MS Project while tying equipment milestones to them.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to turn complex delivery problems into clear leadership recommendations.
Data-fluent approach, preferring to build and maintain trackers and dashboards over trusting status emails.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to Have

Experience with hyperscale or AI data center construction and owner-furnished, contractor-installed (OFCI) delivery models.
Experience supporting 5 to 10+ concurrent projects across a regional portfolio.
Working knowledge of factory acceptance testing, site acceptance testing, and commissioning workflows.
Heavy-haul or project logistics experience involving international freight, customs, and Incoterms.
Technical understanding of data center electrical distribution and cooling system design.
Familiarity with ERP procurement systems and analytics tools including SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Smartsheet, or Procore.
Professional certifications such as PMP or CSCP.
