What you will do
- Hire, supervise, coach, and manage the performance of a team of commercial drivers.
- Build daily and weekly driver schedules while balancing workloads to meet project delivery windows.
- Ensure transport operations comply with federal, state, and local regulations including DOT, CDL, and ELD rules.
- Oversee barcode scanning and warehouse management system transactions to maintain accurate chain-of-custody tracking.
- Monitor fleet condition, coordinate vehicle repairs, and manage routine inspections.
- Lead incident investigations, root-cause reviews, and safety audits for the driving team.
What you need
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
- Minimum of three years of commercial driving experience, with short-haul required and long-haul preferred.
- At least two years of formal supervisory or people-leadership experience managing drivers, transportation, or logistics teams.
- Willingness to work extended hours, evenings, and weekends to support project timelines.
- Ability to lift up to 40 to 50 pounds unassisted and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Must maintain a clean driving record and work on-site in the Memphis area.

- Experience in expediting, material handling, or high-volume data center logistics.
- Experience with barcode scanning and ERP or WMS systems.
