About this role

Data center construction and campus operations require precise inventory management and material flow to ensure high-value servers and infrastructure components reach teams without delay. The organization needs a dedicated supervisor to oversee hourly Production Coordinators and manage shift execution for work-order-driven material distribution.

Daily responsibilities include managing an hourly workforce, monitoring safety standards to maintain zero OSHA recordables, and reconciling bill of material quantities against physical stock. The supervisor will coordinate closely with engineers and site operations while maintaining strict inventory integrity in computer systems.

Candidates who succeed in this environment possess strong prioritization skills and a hands-on approach to leadership. The flat organizational structure rewards individuals who demonstrate initiative and communicate clearly across cross-functional teams.

What you will do

  • Supervise hourly Production Coordinators and adjacent logistics personnel supporting data center construction and campus operations.
  • Manage shift-level execution of work-order-driven material flow, including inventory requests, shortage management, and kit preparation.
  • Oversee the safe handling and protection of high-value servers, networking gear, and power components according to company specifications.
  • Monitor operations to maintain a safe work environment with the objective of achieving zero OSHA recordables annually.
  • Reconcile work-order bill of material quantities to ensure physical material matches documentation.
  • Drive resolution of incorrect system data within company computer systems to prevent operational failures and bad demand schedules.

What you need

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of professional experience in materials management, supply chain, or production/manufacturing, or possess 4+ years of equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Bring a minimum of 1 year of experience leading or supervising hourly warehouse, inventory, production coordination, or manufacturing teams.
  • Demonstrate willingness and ability to work one or more designated shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as site needs require.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license and the physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
  • Be able to work at elevated heights, in extreme outdoor environments, and in areas requiring exposure to fumes, odors, and noise.
  • Be available for travel up to 20% of the time and able to work onsite in the Memphis, TN and Southaven, MS area.

Nice to have

  • 5+ years of experience working with ERP or inventory management software such as SAP or Oracle
  • Experience with MRP systems and work-order or BOM-driven material flow
  • 3+ years of leadership experience within materials management or production coordination
  • Experience in data center, aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, or electronic manufacturing environments
  • APICS certification, Lean or Six Sigma experience, and forklift operation capability
