Agent Strategists operate at the intersection of product development and customer-facing implementation, translating complex business problems into high-performing AI solutions. Individuals in this role guide enterprise leaders through AI strategy, partner with technical teams to troubleshoot builds, and feed user insights directly back to research and platform engineering. Ideal candidates combine strong technical aptitude with a customer-centric mindset, thriving in ambiguous environments while driving high-visibility projects toward measurable outcomes.
What you will do
- Manage the complete agent development life cycle by taking solutions from initial scope through conversation design, tooling, evaluation, and launch.
- Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to enterprise leaders to shape and execute their AI strategy.
- Partner with customer working teams day-to-day to run working sessions, troubleshoot issues, and keep builds on track.
- Surface unmet customer needs from daily engagements and feed them back to research and platform teams.
- Define evaluation metrics and quality bars to drive measurable lifts in agent performance week over week.
What you need
- Demonstrate customer obsession with genuine energy for understanding business needs and building trusted relationships within complex organizations.
- Communicate clearly, directly, and persuasively across both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Apply strategic problem-solving skills in ambiguous environments to break down complex challenges and spot risks early.
- Show strong technical aptitude by comfortably reading API documentation, understanding data models, and following system architecture discussions.
- Bring a track record of ownership and delivery by running multiple complex, high-visibility projects simultaneously.
Nice to have
- Experience building or deploying AI/LLM agents in production with hands-on knowledge of eval frameworks, agent tooling, RAG, and prompt engineering.
- Background as a founder, founding team member, or operator who balances craft, ownership, and speed.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, a related technical field, or an MBA with equivalent practical experience.
