The Strategist, Agent Development position at Sierra in London is a full-time role suited for a professional with strong technical aptitude and customer-facing experience who speaks Dutch. This team member will guide the complete lifecycle of artificial intelligence agents, transforming complex business challenges into production solutions for major enterprises.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the entire agent development life cycle, taking projects from initial scoping through conversation design, tooling, evaluation, launch, and continuous production iteration.
Act as a trusted strategic advisor to enterprise leaders, sitting alongside customer executives to understand business objectives and shape artificial intelligence strategy.
Partner directly with customer working teams by facilitating working sessions, troubleshooting agent issues, and keeping builds on track for timely launches.
Directly impact product development by surfacing unmet user needs from customer engagements and feeding insights back to research and platform teams.

Requirements

Deep customer obsession with a genuine energy for engaging with clients, understanding unique business needs, and building trusted professional relationships.
Clear, direct, and persuasive communication skills capable of bridging technical and non-technical audiences seamlessly.
Strong strategic problem-solving abilities in ambiguous situations, using analytical thinking to break down complex challenges and adapt quickly.
Solid technical aptitude, including comfort reading API documentation, grasping data models, and following engineering trade-offs.
Demonstrated ownership and delivery tracking, showing the ability to manage multiple complex, high-visibility projects simultaneously.

Nice to Have

Prior hands-on experience building or deploying AI and LLM agents in production environments, utilizing evaluation frameworks, RAG, prompt engineering, and agent tooling.
Background as a founder, founding team member, or operator who balances craft, ownership, and speed.
A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field, alongside an MBA or comparable business-technology experience.
