Working within a larger group of content professionals, the person who takes on this job will directly influence product development by establishing guidelines, grading model outputs, and training large language models to maintain a consistent brand voice.
Daily responsibilities involve partnering closely with engineering, design, and legal functions to define ideal user experiences from concept through launch. Candidates should possess deep systems thinking abilities and a strong background in content strategy to successfully build scalable frameworks that adapt as foundational models shift over time.
What you will do
- Shape how generative AI surfaces communicate with hosts and build the supporting systems to maintain a consistent voice.
- Write clear product copy while also training large language models to generate content on other surfaces.
- Establish the quality bar for AI-generated text by creating guidelines, grading model outputs, and writing reference examples.
- Drive consensus among cross-functional partners including design, engineering, product management, and legal.
- Manage content deadlines and deliver detailed copy across multiple projects within a single initiative.
- Participate in team crits to present work and help sharpen the output of teammates.
What you need
- Ten or more years of professional experience in UX writing, content design, or content strategy.
- Proven ability to lead content and copy work from initial concept through detailed design.
- Direct experience in LLM prompting, generative AI, and model evaluation with a clear perspective on training writing quality.
- Demonstrated product strategy and systems thinking skills with experience building guidelines and evals that scale.
- Comfort working independently in a fast-paced environment with the flexibility to adapt as priorities shift.
- Familiarity working alongside other design disciplines using Figma.

What is the salary range for this role?
The base pay range is $180,000 to $223,000 USD. Actual base pay depends on factors such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands.
