Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

Build security for large-scale AI clusters across multiple clouds and bare-metal data centers, encompassing IAM, network segmentation, and encryption controls.
Design and implement network security controls, including default-deny ingress and egress, private connectivity, and mTLS with service identity.
Ship controls as secure defaults utilizing infrastructure as code and GitOps workflows.
Establish visibility into network traffic and boundary drift, detecting exfiltration paths with automated remediation.
Design secure-by-design development workflows and CI/CD pipelines with a focus on Kubernetes security and container orchestration.
Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for complex multi-cloud and networked environments at design time.
Mentor engineering team members and contribute to the growth and hiring of the Security team.

Requirements

8 to 15+ years of software engineering experience implementing and maintaining critical systems at scale.
Strong software engineering skills in Python or at least one systems language such as Go, Rust, or C/C++.
Experience operating critical systems at scale using DevOps and cloud automation practices like infrastructure as code.
Hands-on network security engineering expertise in cloud or on-premise environments.
Working knowledge of Kubernetes security and networking.
Background in threat modeling and risk assessments for networked and multi-cloud systems.
Clear communication skills and the ability to support diverse, inclusive teams.
A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a relevant field.

Nice to Have

Experience with secured Kubernetes networking at scale or work in high-assurance environments.
Background working on interconnects and private connectivity between cloud providers and physical data centers.
Experience building network traffic visibility or exfiltration detection systems.
Exposure to large-scale distributed training network demands.
Leadership in cross-functional security initiatives.
