Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

Design and construct investigation, review, and enforcement tooling encompassing case queues, audit logs, and account action workflows for first-party and third-party surfaces.
Develop foundational backend services, reusable application programming interfaces, and data storage solutions to rapidly deploy review workflows.
Execute and manage multi-cloud deployments, including partner environments, ensuring consistent pipelines, observability, and alerting.
Scale human review operations through automation by integrating Claude into investigation and decision-making processes.
Partner alongside legal, privacy, operations, policy, and data science teams to create trustworthy systems that reduce handling times and error rates.
Instrument tools with metrics tracking queue health, decision quality, and reviewer throughput while aligning with data retention rules.

Requirements

Technical background in full-stack or platform engineering with strong architecture and design capabilities.
Demonstrated track record of shipping internal platforms or tools that measurably improve operational user workflows.
Experience collaborating cross-functionally with non-engineering stakeholders such as legal, policy, and operations teams.
Strong communication skills to clearly articulate technical trade-offs to diverse audiences.
Eight or more years of professional industry software engineering experience.
Background building trust and safety, fraud prevention, data labeling, abuse-prevention, or large-scale human review systems.
Experience designing systems that manage regulated or sensitive data with strict access controls, data residency, and auditability.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study or equivalent practical experience.

Background working across multiple cloud providers or creating provider-agnostic infrastructure.
A product-minded approach focused on observing and fixing internal user friction directly.
