Key Responsibilities

Display abuse patterns in internal dashboards so analysts can conduct thorough manual reviews.
Construct abuse detection tools and underlying infrastructure to protect users and uphold acceptable use policies.
Surface identified abuse patterns directly to research teams to help harden models during the training stage.
Implement robust, multi-layered defenses designed to continuously improve safety mechanisms at scale in real-time.

Requirements

Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or demonstrate comparable professional experience.
Show strong proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
Possess the ability to work effectively across the entire technology stack.
Demonstrate strong communication skills with the capability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

Bring eight or more years of experience working in a software engineering position.
Possess background experience dealing with integrity, spam, fraud, or abuse detection and mitigation.
Have prior work building trust and safety detection mechanisms and interventions specifically for AI and machine learning systems.
Show familiarity with prompt engineering, jailbreak attacks, and other adversarial inputs.
Have experience working closely with operational teams to build custom internal tooling.
